Mothers\u2019 Union had been an active group at St. Giles\u2019 for over 75 years. We meet on the first Monday afternoon each month except August. We have 26 members, including 1 indoor member.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

We have speakers each moth, organise an afternoon tea, Lent and Advent services and a Christmas Lunch. In summer, we have a day\u2019s outing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The branch supports local as well as international appeals, including Afia, Teenage Parent Unit, Women\u2019s Refuse, and making up hospital emergency bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayers are said for members in need, as well as for the world where there is conflict, especially for families \u2013 the very essence of what Mothers\u2019 Union stands for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A team of members meet four times a year to discuss any issues that have been raised, and to discuss forthcoming fundraising events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
