It&#8217;s a space to enjoy some simple food and company in a welcoming environment. It is open to all, and there is no charge for food &#8211; donations are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lunch With Us is run by a team of dedicated and generous volunteers, under the co-ordination of one of our churchwardens, Barbara Sessford. We are funded through donations, grants, and from the donation of food from Greggs (for which we are very grateful!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the purpose of reporting our year runs from Sept to September, here are some facts from the past few years:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the year 2021\/22, we served 3467 meals to 1605 people as we support our local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the year 2022\/23, we served 4315 meals to 2167 people as we support our local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the year 2023\/24, we served 5045 meals to 2522 people as we support our local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whoever you are, you are very welcome to come along and share lunch with us!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>St Giles&#8217; Church hosts a community meal called &#8216;Lunch With Us&#8217;.
